Eligible employees contribute to a 401(K)-retirement fund managed by ADP. Cedar Tree Academy will match the employee’s contribution up to 6% of their salary immediately upon hire. All employees can opt out of this benefit.

Family and Parenting
Cedar Tree Academy employees are covered under the Paid Family Leave Program in The District of Columbia.
There are two kinds of Paid Family Leave benefits for Family Planning and Parenting:
1. Parental leave – receive benefits to bond with a new child for up to 12 weeks in a year;
2. Prenatal leave -receive benefits for prenatal medical care for up to 2 weeks in a year
Laptop
Employees receive a laptop computer for their professional use.
Loan Forgiveness
Teachers at Cedar Tree Academy still paying off federal student loans may qualify for loan forgiveness on Stafford loans or to have Perkins loans canceled through the Federal Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
